As an additional test to ensure proper operation, the controller automatically activates the sump pump weekly. Plus, when using one of the Pro Series CONNECT Modules, the PHCC-1850 backup sump pump system can send remote alerts via, text, email or in app notification. It instinctively switches to battery power when AC fails and automatically recharges when it returns.
